The primary system partition on the new SSD was extended to use up the available free space, then installed in the system in place of the original 256GB SSD. When completed the original disk and the cloned disk looked identical in Macrium and in Windows 11 Disk Management UI, except the new SSD had a large amount of unpartitioned space. The original disk was shown as a GPT disk, and the cloned disk was created a GPT also. I used Macrium Reflect and attached the new 2TB SSD to the system with an external USB SSD Drive enclosure. I just cloned a 256GB SSD installed in a Windows 11 Acer desktop to a 2TB SSD purchased from Crucial as compatible for this specific system.
